Bubblemaps Introduces Intel Desk, a Community-Driven Hub to Uncover Crypto Scams

Bubblemaps, a platform focused on onchain intelligence, has announced the launch of Intel Desk, a new initiative designed to reward community members for identifying scams, rug pulls, and suspicious activity across the crypto ecosystem. Now live in beta and already proving effective, Intel Desk enables crypto investigators to collaborate and document threats in real time. Just today, contributors began actively investigating two separate exploits involving $UXLINK and $SFUND, compiling evidence, mapping onchain movements, and preserving detailed case records. In the case of $UXLINK, where over $113 million was drained via a compromised multisig wallet, Intel Desk hosts a live case page tracking the full sequence of events and onchain data. These examples demonstrate Intel Desk’s value in giving the industry a collective memory and a faster reaction layer. Intel Desk aims to formalize and incentivize the kind of grassroots investigations long shared informally on platforms like Twitter. While social media has been a critical outlet for exposing suspicious activity, its fleeting nature has made it difficult to structure findings or ensure long-term visibility. Intel Desk addresses this by providing a permanent, curated environment where investigations can be surfaced, rated, and acted upon. “We’re seeing millions of tokens launched on-chain, but the infra for verifying and investigating them hasn’t kept pace,” said Nicolas Vaiman, founder and CEO of Bubblemaps. “Intel Desk gives crypto’s on-chain detectives a system to coordinate investigations, surface patterns, and help the industry respond faster to threats. As trading speeds up and trust crumbles, structured transparency has to become the default.” The platform aggregates community contributions from both prominent figures like ZachXBT and everyday Bubblemaps users. These contributors have consistently identified threats early, sometimes ahead of centralized security firms. Notable examples in recent months include coverage of the Bybit hack, activity linked to Hayden Davis, and the controversial Hawk Tuah girl token launch. A built-in rating system helps surface well-researched submissions while filtering out noise and unverified content. Contributions are ranked by timing, reach, and impact, ensuring that those who uncover and report threats first receive recognition and rewards. Central to Intel Desk’s system is the $BMT token, which allows the community to stake support for specific investigations. The more BMT backing a case receives, the greater its visibility and reward multiplier. Bubblemaps also plans to introduce bounty pools in BMT to fund investigations of particular urgency. By transforming fragmented insights into a coordinated intelligence infrastructure, Intel Desk gives the crypto community a scalable tool for transparency. As scams and exploits continue to challenge the space, the platform offers a path toward faster responses and collective vigilance.
