Sharplink Gaming, a Nasdaq-listed company that has been on the agenda for a while with its Ethereum (ETH) purchase, announced that it has purchased ETH again. Accordingly, the Nasdaq-listed company purchased 74,656 ETH worth $156 million at an average price of $2,852 between July 7 and 13. With this acquisition, SharpLink Gaming (SBET) increased its treasury to 280,706 ETH, surpassing the Ethereum Foundation. Accordingly, SharpLink Gaming has become the world's largest institutional Ethereum holder, surpassing the holdings of the Ethereum Foundation, which holds 196,354 ETH worth approximately $591 million. The company also purchased 10,000 ETH directly from EF last week. SharpLink added that since adopting Ethereum as its primary treasury reserve asset, it has staked 99.7% of its assets and earned 415 ETH in rewards, including 94 ETH earned last week.
