Launched three days before Trump's inauguration, the token was listed on leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase within just one day. Coinbase states that it normally conducts a “rigorous” review process before listing new digital assets. The TRUMP token has entered exchanges at an extraordinary pace compared to other major memecoins. However, the large holdings of the token by Trump and his associates pose a risk of potential price manipulation.
