ETHZilla ( NASDAQ: ETHZ ), a developer of an accumulation vehicle for Ether ( ETH-USD ), announced on Monday the appointment of McAndrew Rudisill as CEO, effective September 4. Rudisill, who succeeds Blair Jordan, will continue to serve as chairman. Jordan's resignation is effective as of September 4. ETHZilla said it now has holdings of 102,246 Ether, acquired at an average purchase price of $3,948.72. ETH-USD was trading at $4,314.28 on Monday before the opening bell. The company's ETH holdings are valued at ~$443M. Shares were +9.96% pre-market to $2.54. Additionally, ETHZilla announced an over-the counter transaction with Cumberland DRW to obtain up to $80M. The proceeds will be used to fund repurchases of shares under the previously-announced $250M share buyback program.
