KuCoin Pay, the payment service of global cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin, has partnered with Web3 travel and lifestyle platform Umy to integrate cryptocurrency payments into global travel booking services. The partnership aims to make travel more efficient and accessible by allowing users to pay for bookings directly with digital assets. As part of the collaboration, users can now use KuCoin Pay to reserve flights, book hotel accommodations, and access a variety of lifestyle services through Umy. The system supports more than 50 cryptocurrencies, including KCS, BTC, USDT, and USDC, enabling seamless transactions without the need for traditional banks or currency conversion. “At KuCoin Pay, our mission is to bridge crypto with everyday life, and travel is one of the most exciting frontiers,” said Kumiko Ho, Head of Payment Business at KuCoin. “Our partnership with Umy allows users to unlock real-world experiences directly with their digital assets, offering more freedom, convenience, and value in every journey.” Umy, which positions itself at the intersection of travel and Web3 innovation, sees the integration as a natural step toward making decentralized technologies more practical for everyday use. “Umy is committed to making travel and lifestyle services accessible in the Web3 era,” said Alex Lee, CEO of Umy. “By partnering with KuCoin Pay, we’re enabling travelers to seamlessly use their crypto assets for bookings, making the experience more efficient, borderless, and rewarding.” To promote the rollout, the companies have launched a time-limited offer: KuCoin users can receive $20 off for every $200 spent on travel services booked via Umy.
