KuCoin Pay teams up with 2Game Digital to boost Web3 gaming payments

Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin said its payment platform, KuCoin Pay, has partnered with 2Game Digital, the gaming e-commerce and esports arm of GCL Global Holdings (Nasdaq: GCL). The collaboration is intended to enable cryptocurrency payments across 2Game’s global ecosystem, targeting broader adoption within the gaming community. As part of its wider Web3 strategy, 2Game Digital is building blockchain infrastructure into its platform, including the planned launch of the 2Game Token. The company said the token will underpin loyalty programs, gated rewards, and competitive features, offering new forms of user engagement based on blockchain technology. With this partnership, KuCoin Pay will become a crypto payment option across 2Game Digital’s ecommerce and gaming services. Kumiko Ho, Head of Payment Business at KuCoin, said: “This partnership with 2Game Digital is another milestone in our mission to make cryptocurrency a frictionless part of everyday life. Gaming is one of the most dynamic industries embracing Web3, and by integrating KuCoin Pay into 2Game’s ecosystem, we’re enabling millions of gamers to enjoy a more seamless, secure, and borderless payment experience.” To celebrate the launch, the two companies will launch a series of promotions starting August 29, 2025. Users paying with KuCoin Pay will be eligible for a 20% discount on select purchases at 2game.com/Kucoin , as well as receive special pricing on new game releases, biweekly limited-time bundles, and early access to the 2Game Token ICO through exclusive whitelisting.
