South Korea-based global cryptocurrency exchange Upbit announced that it will list Aerodrome Finance (AERO) on its spot trading platform. Upbit Launches New Market Support for Aerodrome Finance (AERO) According to the statement, AERO will be listed in KRW, BTC and USDT pairs and transactions will begin at 11:30 on August 22. Upbit stated that users can only deposit and withdraw AERO via the Base network. Investors were warned that transfers made outside the specified network will not be supported and that the refund process may take a long time. AERO's official contract address on Upbit was also shared, urging users to be wary of fake addresses. The exchange announced that some temporary restrictions will be implemented during the opening of trading. Buy orders will be limited for the first five minutes, and sell orders will not be allowed for 10 percent below the previous closing price during the same period. Furthermore, only limit orders will be accepted for two hours after trading support begins. AERO is a decentralized exchange (DEX) project built on Ethereum's Base layer-2 blockchain. With its liquidity incentive engine, voting-based governance model, and user-friendly design, the project aims to become a key liquidity hub within the Base ecosystem. The AERO token can be used for staking and governance purposes. Users can stake and acquire AERO, giving them a say in the platform's governance.
